euskalforging has 15 heat treatment furnaces (9 gas and 6 electric), 2 preheating chambers, and 8 quenching tanks distributed between its 2 ring rolling plants:
- At its Irura plant, it has 5 heat treatment furnaces with dimensions of 4,400 x 4,400 mm and a loading capacity of up to 30,000 kg, and 2 preheating chambers with dimensions of 4,000 x 4,000 mm and a loading capacity of up to 30,000 kg.
- At its Sestao plant, it has 8 heat treatment furnaces, of which 4 are gas-fired: 2 furnaces with dimensions of 8,000 x 8,000 mm and a loading capacity of up to 50,000 kg, 1 furnace with the same dimensions and a loading capacity of up to 35,000 kg, and 1 furnace with dimensions of 10,000 x 10,000 mm and a loading capacity of up to 120,000 kg. It also has 4 electric furnaces: 1 with Ø 8,500 mm, 1 with Ø 9,000 mm, and 2 with Ø 9,500 mm, all with a loading capacity of up to 120,000 kg.
All furnaces are periodically checked and adjusted to ensure maximum precision in both temperature and uniformity throughout their interior.
