Arianne 6 is a new-generation launcher developed by ESA and by the European industry whose first flight is scheduled for 2020. Arianne 6 provides a modular architecture using either two boosters or four boosters, depending on the required performance.
Under the terms of the contract euskalforging will roll, heat treat , machine and deliver to the customer eight seamless rolled rings in X20CrMoV11-1, ranging from 890 mm of outer diameter up to 2100 mm of outer diameter, that will be integrated in the launching system of Arianne 6.
