euskalforging a world leading manufacturer of seamless rolled rings up to ∅10.000mm and 80Tn of input weight, with turning, drilling and gear cutting capabilities and three manufacturing plants in the North of Spain, has signed a contract with IDESA/WINDAR & STEELWIND for the 198 flanges for MERKUR wind park, and with WINDAR/IDESA 62 flanges for DEUTSCHE BUCHT wind farm.
Under the terms of the contract, euskalforging will fabricate and deliver to IDESA/WINDAR 132 TP´s flanges with an outer diameter above 6.300mm that will be integrated in the foundation. Deliveries will be adjusted to meet customer’s manufacturing schedule. At the same time 66 MP´s were supplied to STEELSWIND with outside diameter of 6.000mm.
The project represents another milestone for euskalforging and reinforces its technological leadership and project execution capabilities in the offshore wind market after participating in more than 36 offshore wind farms in the last few years.
Deutsche Butch (DeBu) consist of up 31 V 164 - 8 MW MHI wind turbines to and output of 252 MW. The foundation is a monopile design, each wind rated 8 MW.
Under the terms of the contract, euskalforging supply 31 sets TP¨s flanges to WINDAR/IDESA, outside diameter abobe 6.700 mm.
The project represents another milestone for euskalforging and reinforces its technological leadership and project execution capabilities in the offshore wind market after participating in more than 37 offshore wind farms in the last few years.
