euskalforging has been supplier of the first icebreaking cruise that will travel to remote polar destinations. Le Commandant Charcot, largest ship of the French company Ponant, will include 135 cabins for 270 passengers and 187 cruise members.
Under the terms of the contract, euskalforging has rolled, heat treated, machined and delivered to the customer total of 6 rings for gears up to 4529 mm outer diameter, meeting the strengest requests in order to work in hard Polar conditions.
