Euskalforging scores Ma’aden II, Ras Al Khair DAP (diammonium phosphate) plant

euskalforging has been awarded the supply of 32 tyres and 12 gears with Ø ≥ 5.000 mm that will be part of the coolers, granulators, coaters and dryers integrated in the extension of Ma’aden’s phosphate business.

Ma’aden was formed in 1997 to exploit Saudi Arabia´s mineral resources and is listed in the Saudi Stock Exchange. Ras Al Khair is 90km north of Jubail in Saudi Arabia's Eastern Province and is one of the biggest granulated diammonium phosphate production plants in the world.

Under the term of the contract, euskalforging will roll, heat treat and machine (turning, drilling and gear cutting) 44 rolled rings and prepare the wooden cases for the sea transport to the final location.

euskalforging’s one stop shop solution, integrating all the processes within the same plant, has reduced the delivery time and cost impact for the customer.
