euskalforging will supply four ∅9.626mm rolled rings to ExxonMobil refinery. This is a big milestone for euskalforging as it will be produced using the new RAW SMS-Thyssen Wagner 1.000/1.000 and the rest of the committed new investments. The rings will be transported directly by barge from euskalforging’s direct access quay to the customer´s quay.


euskalforging will supply 116 sets of flanges for the double hull offshore wind monopile foundation. The scope of the project consists of 3 types of rolled rings (Top Transition Piece, Bottom Transition piece and Monopile) starting at ∅5.000mm and finish machined for each of the 116 foundations that will be installed off the English coast.


euskalforging has been awarded the supply of 32 tyres and 12 gears with Ø ≥ 5.000 mm that will be part of the coolers, granulators, coaters and dryers integrated in the extension of Ma’aden’s phosphate business.


The investment plan consists of a new ring rolling machine RAW SMS-Thyssen Wagner 1.000/1.000, a new heat treatment gas furnace 10.000 x 10.000 mm, a new manipulator, a new band saw and two new lathes, including a machining centre up to 10.000 mm.
